Terms & Conditions
Bookings
- Advance bookings of at least 4 weeks are required to ensure availability.
- Stirling Strings requires a 25% deposit on all bookings.
- An invoice will be provided at your request.
Payment
- Please notify us when you send your payment and ensure that you include your name and date of function so that we can track your payment.
- Payment can be made by cash, cheque, money order or bank transfer. Bank transfer details are available on request.
- All cheques should be made payable to "Annette Yousif".
- Do not send cash in the mail.
- Credit Card facilities are not available at this time.
- Final payment must be made one week before the event/wedding.
- No monies will be refunded after the duration of the performance.
Additional charges
- Performance duration is measured from the time Stirling Strings starts playing until we finish playing.
- Overtime charges will apply if your wedding runs longer than the time you have booked us for. (e.g. 1-15 minutes overtime is charged at $25 per player) An invoice will be sent and payment is due immediately.
- If you wish for the ensemble to play longer on the day this can be negotiated with the ensemble. Any extension will be subject to the availability of the ensemble past the originally agreed finishing time and will attract the overtime charges mentioned above.
- There is an extra charge if there is more than one hour between the ceremony and/or pre-dinner drinks/canapes/reception.
- Travel charges apply to venues outside of the Greater Brisbane Area. Other charges may apply.
Cancellation
Notice of a minimum one week is required to cancel a booking. The initial 25% deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. If final payment has been made, this will be refunded (minus the 25% deposit).
